His Excellency the Governor in Council is pleased to sanction, and Mr Stewart, the Financial Secretary and Treasurer, has been instructed to pay the several amounts on the necessary receipts being furnished. With regard to the charge for Hymn books which forms a somewhat irregular item in such Disbursements, I am directed to request you to cause the words "Church property" to be written in each and that you will be so good as to deliver them into the custody of the Clerk.
